RE: Modern Art
Man I think those are hilarious, and at least they took some effort. Granted, there's no way I'd want that on my lawn.

This is "art" that I really hate and don't understand why people pay for it:

I mean art is appreciated by those who appreciate it, so who am I to say that it sucks outright, but why would someone pay for something they could whip up themselves with practically no effort or cost...

Personally if I could make stuff myself there wouldn't be much I'd buy.

That's nothing against Kazimir Malevich's painting named "Black Square". Laughat

If it ain't on black velvet, it ain't squat. Angry

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

Amazingly creative naming of a "picture".

RE: Modern Art
In my music class in college our instructor also liked to couple the music with other art of the same time period. He went to a gallery (I think in Italy) to see this gem among others.

RE: Modern Art
If they'd had forums hundreds of years ago, you'd see people making threads like this for every new art movement.

that being said, meh. If I don't like it, I don't pay attention to it.
