Mood Ratings.
Our moods tend to fluctuate from time to time, some much more than others, such as those suffering from bi- polar disorder.
From a more average perspective how do you rate your normal everyday mood?
You might also like to indicate how prescription drugs or other medical or social activities may have helped. Was there a down side? Was the remedy of value in the long term.

RE: Mood Ratings.
I rated as "Good". Not on anything of pharmaceutical grade and the best thing to help me get through the things I went through and still am going through is me. I guess the downside is learning the hard way - but I'm glad to have taken this route - it's a difficult road. The value fluxes now and again but that's normal. I'm still here.

And so are you, Mr. Woof! It doesn't matter how we do it, as long as we do, for as long as we can.

Good, I think generally good, is pretty good.
Higher grades are prolly pretty rare for most of us and may involve paying the piper.Consider

RE: Mood Ratings.
I voted for two options.

As a biological machine... Input --> Process --> Output.

My output:
waste product / other emissions,
quantity and quality of productivity (lecturing / writing),
emotion,

... depends on my input:
daily fuel (food and drink) content (quantity and quality),
air/nicotine ratio and quality,
emotional stimulus (other people and moment-to-moment events)

Therefore:
enough drugs = mellow
too much bread = suicidal
fragrant, naked flatmates = erm... other emissions.

Drinking Beverage

(actually I avoid Drinking Beverage for reasons stated above)

RE: Mood Ratings.
I rated myself fair.

Most of the time I'm in an OK mood but it's not like I'm happy happy.

Then occasionally I have days where everything turns to shit... bit of a reverse Midas touch there...

And very occasionally I have great days...

I'm sort of between fair and mediocre these days now that i am now off the booze and benzos.
In the bad old days any "highs" came at a serious psychological and physical cost!Blink

RE: Mood Ratings.
I am mostly content. I have times when I miss my husband terribly, but I also have times when I am quite happy. But basically I am just content.

Interesting that to date the votes more or less relate to 'fair', which may be the best we can ask for in the long term.

So I'm not needed 85.61% of the time?

Seems about right.

Right now, I'm craving pizza and garlic bread.
