I'm usually so proud when my Alma mater makes the news. Oh well.

On a serious note, if you read this carefully you'll note that at no point does this say anything about a link between good health and a belief in God. What it is saying is that people in certain situations, in this case a strict religious group, are more likely to act in a way that is better for their physical and mental health. I suspect that is probably true. I equally suspect that the effect is not unique to religion.

Ya I read it and I know what it means. But it's not a good thing I don't think. That website is often used to scare people about their health, but to scare people about their health into joining a group that will control them by fear of a god to improve their health it's like a megapwn.

Maybe. I'm inclined to think that if you're going to join a religion because of something you read on Yahoo, you were halfway there already.

RE: More BBC science?
Ya, but you have to remember that the people Yahoo UK is looking to talk too are people who are the average unthinking atheist that the UK started breeding in the 70s and produced this nation of sheep...

Ya actually I don't care, I'm going to move to Canada or some such.

Before you move to Canada, be forwarned. Canada is a big country and most of the land is farther from the sea than anywhere in the British Isles, which means it is a longer trek to see dolphins.

RE: More BBC science?
So BBC science basically means science that is inconvenient to your narrative?

RE: More BBC science?
No, BBC science is bullshit made to look like it matters. Made by the sort of people who accuse people they don't agree with of being nazi bigots.

RE: More BBC science?
The BBC accuses people of being Nazis? Did the BBC do something specific that brought about this idea of BBC science or was it a series of things?

Peace and Love and Empathy,

Matt

RE: More BBC science?
BBC is a firm believer in the "Races are a myth" and "White people don't have an ethnic homeland" ideas.
