RE: Morning Person or Night Owl
I prefer rising early -- seven AM or so -- but my job has me working two to midnight five days a week, so I have to accommodate. Having been in the military, I can move my sleep around as needed without much fuss, so whatever.

Due to raging insomnia, I'm both a morning person and a night owl. Dodgy -But my most natural tendency is to be a night owl.

Good point! I usually think one or the other or somewhere in the middle. But you're right, it could be both.

I'm a both. Night owl by nature, early bird by vocation. I have to be up at 5 AM, but still find it hard to go to bed before 11 or 12. No wonder I can't figure out which way is up.

We have enough youth. How about looking for the Fountain of Smart?

I can go from 100% awake to 0% awake in less than 5 minutes basically whenever I want. I get my 7+ hours, then wake up, roll out of bed and start singing as I make some breakfast...

So both?

I suffer from Non-24 Hour Sleep Wake Syndrome [http://tinyurl.com/jhj9oys] which means I'm neither a lark nor a night owl.

My waking period can vary from 12 hours to 24 hours, and my sleeping period from 6 hours to 18 hours.

I've been both or neither, however you look at it. The alarm goes off at 4:30 but I will stay up till 11 to watch a show. Tonight I will make up for it and go to bed at 9 ish.

RE: Morning Person or Night Owl
I have an instinctual love of the night and have since I was a child, having never been afraid of the dark. I am very much a night owl but at the same time I have no groggy phase when I wake up. Whereas my brother is basically an extra from the set of The Walking Dead when he first wakes up, the second I open my eyes am as awake as I am mid day. That was a skill I cultivated living in ....unpleasant environments in my early 20s.
That said I have crazy insomnia, at one point in my life getting 2-3 hours of sleep ever couple of days or more yet never drinking coffee (a habit I didn't pick up until last year) yet having more energy then anyone I know. So I'm just all around strange. Definitely a night person though.

If I have something to do in the morning, I'm definitely a morning person. That usually means summertime, when work is best done in the cool of the morning. Otherwise, especially during winter when the sun sleeps late, I tend to follow suit.

So many cats, so few good recipes.

You start singing as you make your breakfast?

Angry I think I hate you.

I just want peace and quiet in the morning. No singing. Drinking Beverage

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.
