RE: Movie scenes that made me cry
Man, I cry at everything.

The scene that jumps to mind first is the end of Tuck Everlasting. "I will love you... Until the day I die!" Instant blubbering.

Also no human being can watch Les Miserables without crying throughout the whole damn thing.

RE: Movie scenes that made me cry
The "Velveteen Rabbit" scene in Wit is the single most emotionally devastating thing I have ever seen on a DVD. I had to throw in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation afterwards -- in July -- to get myself back on an even keel. (The second most emotionally devastating is the climactic scene of Gunslinger Girl, but that's not a movie, so I can't count it here.)

That's what it's supposed to look like? ... Blink ... Blink ... Weeping

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

"Grave of the Fireflies"
I saw this movie mentioned a couple of times in the thread. It is my biggest tear jerker ever.

I saw this dog movie, can't remember the name, about a dog who waited at a train station for most of it's long life, died there, for his deceased owner to arrive so they could walk home together. The movie was based on a true story.

"If you want a happy ending, that depends, of course, on where you stop your story." Orson Welles
