Movies that are frequently underrated by critics.
"Zabriski Point" —It's been described as "the worst film ever made by a director of genius" (Antonioni). Not so. Very representative of the sixties for those that were there.

"Das Boot" —Equal doses of suspense and claustrophobia. Notable camera work.

"Blue Velvet" —Riveting psycho performance by Dennis Hopper. Truly scary movie.

I dunno what the critics said -- but it's hard to find anyone who's ever seen this one -- which I thought was a hoot ---

"The Road To Wellville" --- it's about the W.C. Kellog "health spa" in the late 1800's........ Weird shit they did back then......

Funny, albeit odd movie..

An old movie called The Conversation by Francis Ford Coppola. It came out before the Watergate scandal. The entire movies changes in one of the last sentences spoken, "He'd kill us if he had the chance", and the difference in the emphasis of the words. I think it's better, much better, than the overblown Godfather series.

The technology in the film is dated but the character's aren't. It's one of my favorite movies.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Saugatuck Cures.............

This is a goofy movie -- made locally... (My S.O. and I were checking out all the local scenery).............

But, if I'd never seen any of the locations -- I'd still say it's a good movie..........................

.......

It's religion vs "The Gay Agenda" ..............

And funny.....

Very, very, fucking funny..................
