Should note those last two aren't Photoshop tricks, they're paintings from scratch I did.

Nicely done. I say that because I have nothing more to say. Smile

RE: Muffin's photoshop shit
I have a third painting to go with the previous two but it's taking a while to get it perfect.

In the mean time I figured out a new way to do stars today. I was messing around with textures and found that sand, when you desaturated it and mess with the dark/light levels and then screen it onto a black background makes fantastic realistic like stars.
Previously I just used 'noise' and messed with the dark/light levels but I think sand texture works much better. Opinions?
Also got a new way of doing rings. Was trying to work out ways to do galaxy's and found this works good for rings.

That's very nice, except the lighting of the planet is inconsistent with the lighting of the rings.

The planet wasn't designed form this picture, I just copy and pasted it in as a sort of placeholder.

Is that planet big enough to be a wallpaper? I love it. If you have one in high enough resolution, I would love to put it on my desktop.
