For the love of dog...nooooooo

No fucking Stairway to Heaven too

I'll take songs that were played to death for $500.00 Alex...

I'll stick my neck out here and claim that "Stairway to Heaven", while certainly played to death, is still a great song. What really bugs me is when they take a shitty or mediocre song (like "Free Bird") and play it to death. Another example is Jethro Tull's "Bungle in the Jungle". Jethro Tull must have had dozens of songs that were far better than that one, but that is the one that radio stations around here decided to play over and over and over. I didn't like it to start with, and I really don't like it now (even though I haven't heard it for probably 20 years).

You see this thread muffs, this is why it is against the rules to have an opinion on the internet.

Don't get me wrong, they're good and nostalgic. I've bought my fair share of Metallica records and SOAD merch, BUUUUUT... my point still remains.

Actually that song is a valid point, I do enjoy that song greatly.
However, I enjoy it as a song and not as a rock song if that makes sense which is why I didn't have it on my list.

That brings back memories of being forced to sing at primary school so no, that is not a great rock song. Blame my primary school teachers.

That's why I tell people to stop having opinions and adopt mine because mine are clearly superior.

I'm not old for 7 more months, I'm still in my twenties. Unsure

And I won't be 60 for almost 6 months, so I'm not old yet either.

No argument.

Is it obvious I was born in the 90's?

I was born in the (very) late 70's, and I still like a lot of the songs on that list.
