Musicians with unique voices?
What solo vocalist/musician has the most unique voice to you? A voice that pops out to you with some sort of unique quality that differentiates it from other musicians.

For me, I absolutely love Marina Diamandis' range. She's a welsh singer with a Mezzo Soprano vocal range of 3 octaves and 3 notes (A2-D6) She can quickly and cleanly switch between parts of the voice, which makes a beautiful result. She also has excellent control over her pitch, as well as diction and unique harmonies. She can sing heavy and dark, with an almost androgynous quality, or lighten the sound considerably for a warmer sound.

Alana Watson is by far my favorite vocalist. Her voice is absolutely captivating to me.

I dunno if it is "unique", but I love her voice. See 1:27... it gives me chills.

Unique is your definition of unique. If it's what is unique to you, then it's undoubtedly unique. Smile

I absolutely love Nero. I saw them live when they toured the US in '11. Big Grin

For me, no one has ever matched Stevie Nicks. Perhaps not the perfect voice, but perfect for the songs she sang/wrote.

I hate all covers of her songs.

Annie Lennox is amazing.

Bucky...definitely unique and totally annoying. I remember seeing him on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson back in the day.
