I have cousins who run private webpages dedicated to the idea that all technology and science is fake. They use them for their home schooling.

do they see the irony in using technology to promote this idea? i guess it depends on what they think "fake" means.

There's no choking on irony for them. They'll have the computer on their car fixed on the way to a celebration that honors the day Jesus returned to Earth long enough to give their Elders the REAL Bible.
