My Garden (and pretty plants!) Come in and visit :)
I am sorry if this is overwhelming. I have so many images because I freaking love my garden. lol

This is the landscaping/front and side. My husband and I did all of this ourselves. The yard when we bought the house was pretty neglected, just grass and weeds and a couple sad pine trees. So this was truly a complete overhaul. This is about 7 years worth of work.

That's a beautiful garden.

Wow! that's spectacular. Never seen hydrangeas that big. What kind of climate you got? what's that on the fairy path? Creeping thyme? Are those natural colors?

Thanks!

Our hydrangea are scattered, but we have endless summer, oak leaf (in the back yard - not pictured), lace cap and limelight. The big white ones are limelight.

We are zone 6, so right now it is still cold. I can start planting my cold weather crops in 3-4 weeks.
Yes, that is creeping thyme! I love it and have it planted all over the place in attempt to cover the mulch. I also have moss, clover and stonecrop mixed in that path so it gets more of a range of bloom time. And yes, the colors are real Smile

How do you keep your vegetables so preserved?

They don't last long enough to preserve! lol

We are vegetarian, so we eat a lot of vegetables - the rest I give away to family, friends and the food pantry.

For pests and weeds: I use hay for weed control, buckwheat as cover crop, and marigolds planted in between plants.
I also try and rotate crops to minimize issues.

How do you grow moss? Every time I try to relocate some from the woods it never takes. Figured it was like mushrooms, they either pop up or they don't and you never know where.
