Big Grin My Introduction :)
Hi there!
If I'm being honest, I am excited and nervous to be here.

I think I will start with a few bullet point facts for you to get to know me
a little better.
  • I am 25, Female
  • Grew up in a Christian home, where both parents were pastors
  • I have questioned for quite some time the validity of the Bible
  • I recently gained the courage to begin my journey from religion to reason
  • My husband is a Christian, and has openly expressed his commitment/love to/for me regardless of our difference in beliefs

I know I could add more information for you, but I'll wait.
There's plenty of time, right?

Have a good one,
MrsLC

Welcome to the forum!

When you say that both your parents were/are pastors, are they from a liberal denomination that allows female pastors, or your mother just happened to be labeled as pastor for being the wife of a pastor? or the other way around?

RE: My Introduction :)
Welcome. Us 20 somethings are I feel the first "wave" of people breaking out of religion because of the information and interactions we have on the web (although i don't fall under that category). Those 10 years younger than us, who grew up immersed in the internet? They will be the next wave. Then there will be our children! And our children's children! Then RIP religion (as the norm).

Or at least I can hope and dream Thumbsup.

I prefer fantasy, but I have to live in reality.
