My mum's is better than your mum's.

RE: My Mum's macaroni and cheese
Mac and cheese is the best thing ever...it's my main comfort food.
I make a pretty good mac and cheese myself...but I am sure that, for you, there is none better than your mum's. Angie See here they are the bruises, some were self-inflicted, and some showed up along the way. --- JFurstenfeld “even my different drummer heard a different drummer” ― Florence King |

I agree mac n cheese is the best thing ever, and so I have had my fair share of different mac n cheese. I say that my mothers mac n cheese is the best not out of simple bias but out of personal experience. She manages to get perfect thickness of the sauce while maintaining perfectly cooked pasta and bacon. Plus she doesn't add vegitables like some people do for some weird reason. RE: My Mum's macaroni and cheese
I understand that you might be a tad upset and react a little OTT. It is often the way when someone's faith is undermined by truth based on facts.
My mum taught me to make her cheese sauce. I have made cauliflower-cheese for my girls and this is the pattern of behaviour: Turning up of nose and polite refusal My insistence (and reminder that I pay the rent) Prodding of cheese sauce with chop stick and tentative lick of same Devouring of first bowlful Request for seconds Repeated requests for me to make it more often. One previous flatmate is a shit hot chef (planning to open her own restaurant) and has learned the recipe so she can sell it. Where's your proof? The PURPOSE of life is to pass on our DNA (from Darwin) The MEANING of life is the experience of living (from Frank Herbert) The VALUE of life is the legacy we leave behind (from observation) |

No. I bet my Gran's macaroni and cheese rapes your Mum's... and that isn't even my Gran's best dish. ![]() Y'all should try her lasagne and her chicken pie. These are the main reason I don't confront her about her creationism, I fear that she would cut off my supply. I'm allergic to dairy products, but I will put up with the consequences for my Gran's cooking.
