RE: My Netflix Adventures
It's not a Netflix thing, but watching the Hugh Hefner story thing produced by Amazon Prime.

So far I'm liking it a lot. And I'm a bit surprised.

Oh and Netflix just rebooted the Mystery Science Theater 3000 franchise.

So far it's been pretty good and faithful to the campy, ameture look of the original.

I can't recall if I mentioned this one before or not....

This little disaster film gem comes from Norway and is horribly dubbed -- really freaking bad English dubbing....

It's called the Wave...

And it's one of those...if you own an SUV you can outrun large amounts of water type of film.

I love those....

Laugh out load

No, I'm planning on firing it up tonight.

Last night I sucked into watching the remake of The Incredible Journey, after watching the Secret Life of Pets (which was kinda fun).

Sadcryface

Never once did I consider my old man dog, sounding like Don Ameche. Now, I can't get that sound out of my head...

Although my old man dog, I would think, would sound more like Jimmy Stewart.

My pets all sound like Dom DeLuise.

Cool! I heard Joel was involved in it so, that should be good.

RE: My Netflix Adventures
I'm watching Dear White People.
It's really fucking good. 9.5/10

So far, I'm only 4 episodes in it could suddenly get really shit. But I doubt it.

Damn Netflix makes some fucking amazing TV shows. Continuous proof of how stale and shit Hollywood has gotten.

I'm really enjoying its style, the whole same story but told from the perspective of a different person each episode. I think that style is perfect for the setting and what they're trying to accomplish.
And the way they've interweaved the stories is extremely well done.
