RE: My Ordination
Language, Ed... language!

Wink

Remember... gotta set a good example. Thumbsup

You can cuss all you want to around me... I don't care... doesn't make me see you differently; however, certain expectations and stigmas are going to be placed on you now that you're ordained.

That's a good thing.

Ed has admitted that since converting back to Veridicanism that he is going to be working on his communication style and approach towards others.

I'm already seeing a change. Good job, Ed. Thumbsup

See, Anj, that's the difference between us and those upon whom god has smiled benevolently. We don't need the fear of hell or the promise of heaven (not to mention a title you can buy for $45) to hold ourselves to high standards. Or at least try and be decent human beings. And I thought only donkeys needed carrots and sticks...

Should QC be worried? You two are starting to sound like a couple. (KC and Ego®)

Sorry, I'm not a negative person.

I encourage everyone whenever I can in whatever they do. If I see positive change in someone, I'll give them praise and recognition for it.

Being negative and hurling insults back at people who have previously been negative, doesn't improve any situation for anyone.

RE: My Ordination
This ordination was presented as something that was worked toward and earned...it was bought...teeny bit of deception in the presentation.
We could all send off $45.00 and be ordained, how special is that.
I am all about giving support to those that actually reach a goal or are working toward one...whipping out the plastic to get a piece of paper in the mail isn't exactly an accomplishment.
So now he can marry people, in many states a Notary can do that. And it takes more than just cash in most places.
Way too much atta-boy for way too little effort.

RE: My Ordination
Y'all just don't understand.

The Egor a ~year ago isn't like the Egor today. Sure, he's still a little harsh and rough... but go back and look at earlier Egor. It doesn't matter if he paid for the ordination or earned it... it's positively affecting him.

Why not praise that?
