We've got food, booze, culture, fun, the freakin' movie industry by the balls, and Spring weather 100% better than any NE state.

It's because we're the "South", right?

Yabut, I've got an acre of apple blossoms. Yes

In fairness, I was 14.

Yeh. I eat only about a third of my plate when I eat out and get a to go box and get two more meals out of it. Portion sizes here are insane, plus all the extra calories from saturated fats. Hell, even in the fancy schmancy restaurants where they choose a white or black napkin based on the color of your dress or slacks, I get a to go box - if I paid $60 for my entrée I'm taking the rest of it home, dammit. Unless it's a first/second/third date scenario...

Not too much fast food, but I do need a big dose of sugar everyday. It seems everything is much sweeter and greasier here. I'm a sugar junkie and I couldn't handle most of the sweet stuff (not to mention the chocolate here is so bad I can't believe it).

I was expecting to lose some weight here, I walked my ass off three days in NY, but it seems the donuts I had there just once were enough to neutralize that.

Dodgy No.

I either get a salad or only eat a portion of my plate. I leave the rest at the restaurant. I don't want my shrimp sitting in the car for hours during the after dinner activities.
