my comp specs are embarassing.

intel dual core something at 2.3ghz

500 gb hard drive
also ~8 years old tech here

When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour. That's relativity.

You cannot successfully determine beforehand which side of the bread to butter.

Well I am back, yet again. My life has been consumed by Crusader Kings 2... heh. I see this thread has been turned into a showroom for those with PCs they are willing to show off. Sweet.

Under Repair.

I'M NOT ALONE!!

That game is fucking great! Do you play other Paradox games? EU3 (number 4 is coming out next year), Victoria 2 and Hearts of Iron2/3?

I don't talk gay, I don't walk gay, it's like people don't even know I'm gay unless I'm blowing them.

GTX 690 overclocked all the way, bitches!
How did a cheap fucker like you acquire a GTX 690? Consider

That aside, I can confirm that graphics card from Nvidia are generally superior to AMD. It's not only because of their physical components, but also because AMD has no equivalent to Nvidia's PhysX technology and because AMD graphics cards are incapable of running games in 3D. The only downside is the comparatively high cost. The same goes for AMD processors. While Intel is miles ahead of AMD in all categories (processing power, cooling requirements, efficiency, etc.), AMD is a much cheaper alternative. If I had enough money, I'd buy myself an Intel processor and a Nvidia graphics card, but since that's not the case, I'm stuck with my AMD processor and graphics card.

Just a few more months then I'll be done with school and can finally get a job. Big Grin
The Fall special on Cyberpower gave a free upgrade from the GTX 590 to the GTX 690. An extra few bucks, and I got it overclocked.
