DLJ..go figure...

One of the funniest, and truest scenes in the movies.
But, alas, I don't think that's the clip I will choose for class. Leave it to you D!

Oh, c'mon!

Are you not even tempted to speak about the use of god in that context?

T'was never a better combination of the desire for a happy ending with a religious reference since Hamlet's:

" 'tis a consummation devoutly to be wished"

Or it isn't an issue because they are not listening to the crazy old fuck anyways.

I am thinking of watching "When Harry Met Sally" again because that is a dialogue driven movie.

... and her references to god are more in a deistic sense. She does not actually mean that her personal god is actually there, eating her under the table.

Either of those are great explanations...
no one has mentioned concern that my classmates may see me as a parent figure...Undecided

:PWhat was that? I wasn't really paying attention.

I doubt that. They (and I am not trying to be an asshole here) probably see you as someone who is going to school too late. To them, you are that awkward adult trying to reclaim their youth.

Most college students don't really percieve college as a place for education. So, it baffles them if someone is there to actually get one. And further confuses them if they are not within their age group.
