My very first attempts at astrophotography

So I got my wife adapters for our telescope for christmas and we have a VERY clear view of the moon tonight. This is our first attempts at taking pictures of it so they aren't perfect, but it is definitely something else to see it with your own eyes and take your own pictures. Figured I'd share

















Sort of hard to see, but this is Jupiter, and visible (lightly though) is the weather bands and one of the moons passing in front in the lower corner.

Uranus is SO HUGE, but so dark and mis-shapen, so it's often hard to tell that it is Uranus and not just a big fat blob.
(but in all seriousness, I think you can make it out once in a while, it's not out tonight, although SATURN is sometimes available to be seen!)

Well, now that I figured out how to insert more lenses, I will take tons! I literally came inside the house and was playing with the adapter and realized the end unscrewed and had threads inside.... for lenses. This whole time I thought there was no way to adjust it beyond the end barlow, I was way way off. So next time I'll play with multiple lenses

Are you going to try pasting all the pictures together to make a huge picture of the moon?

BTW, I'm totally jealous. In a good way. You've inspired me to make it a goal to do the same thing as you.
