These were taken with an Orion 8XT Dobsonian telescope, 2x barlow lense, an Orion adjustable camera adapter, Nikon t-adapter and a Nikon D40.

Of course, you don't have to use a barlow as I found out later, since adapters will actually screw into the inside of the universal adapter. So you can in essence mix and match to what you want to take a picture of.

The t rings are made for all kinds of various cameras.

Probably won't right now, but that would be a very cool idea and project for myself in the future. Even though I know it's already been done, it would be cool to do it for myself. I would like to get pictures of the various planets as well. Saturn especially. I'm glad it inspired you and a goal Smile
