I found this...

http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/09703a.htm

But this person was talking a more physical union -- it left me dumbfounded.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

Pretty sure most Christians would be a lil' bit shocked at the thought of God physically being all up in their business. *Why* would God do that? Jesus II ??? Or does he wear a condom?

But I came across a person who claims to be married to god -- that said marriage is consummated. The individual further asserts the catholic church investigated this and found it true.

Seriously, can someone explain this to me?

Bucky?

Goodwithoutgod?

Anyone?

God is a dildo?

This kind of stuff was rampant when I went to church, people were constantly revealing their revelations from the Holy Spirit (pulling stuff out of their ass).
Then they would get into stupid and pointless conversations about their interpretation of the biblical verses that they based their "revelation" upon.

RE: Mystical Marriage?
There are some women from the Middle Ages who incorporated God into their fantasy life so much that they saw every wet dream as a personal visit. And wrote about it as such, but because it was god and they were nuns, the writing was seen as being about "ecstatic" visions and not just virgin-written porn.

How about St. Teresa of Avila? I think she had god induced organic visions.

That's her name! I couldn't remember and couldn't summon up the energy to look it up.

RE: Mystical Marriage?
The catch ---

They consummated the marriage by Skype ---

and apparently "God" is really a middle aged overweight truck driver, living in a trailer park in a small town in Oklahoma......
