Why everyone uses Ronald Reagan makes me laugh. It was the war in Afghanistan and the crumbling infrastructure of the Soviet block. It had nothing to do with Ronald Reagan and his silly speeches. Ronald Reagan was a movie star and not even a good one at that. He played to a camera like his monkey. He didn't even know about the country's he would go to so the state dept. would make films all about the country he would be going to.

The right often idolizes Ronnie and selectively quotes him.

I like to quote Ronnie to show the right that Ronnie didn't hold their current values - like the above quote on separation of church and state.
