NF-kappaB Regulation and Ageing
NF-kappaB activation appears to be responsible for systemic ageing.

Scientists find key to ageing process in hypothalamus.

Resveratrol, curcumin, and the old school diabetes drug metformin are all NF-kappaB inhibitors. No reason everyone can't take resveratrol and curcumin now, but I think that even ageing non-diabetics could benefit from metformin. I know several non-diabetics who take it solely for life extension purposes. And it ain't a controlled substance in the US so you can get it on the Interwebz cheap (like $0.05/pill, cheaper than both resveratrol and curcumin supplements) and US Customs won't give a shit if they open a package and find it, but you really should check with your Doc first. Even if I can reverse the insulin resistance/pre-diabetes/metabolic syndrome, don't think I'm gonna ever stop taking the metformin.

Now if I can just find me some of that gonadotropin-releasing hormone to stack with my Androgel ... Consider
