NSA won't provide Senate info, because they love our privacy.
The letter is on Wired.

So the Senate Intelligence Committee asked the Intelligence Community Inspector General how many people in the US have been monitored under the "Spy on folks whenever we fucking feel like it" act. The IG responded that they couldn't say, because it would violate the privacy of the good people of the USA.

If irony had a lethal dose...

One good thing in the letter though. The last sentence:

Quote:If you have any questions concerning this response, please contact me at (703) 482-4955.

Do you have any questions?

Oh, America....

I will enjoy spending my years growing up watching the US sink lower and lower. All while ignoring my own nations problems and blaming the worlds issues of the ever failing US.

If I$I has taught us anything, it's; "All the worlds problems originate from the US."

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.

The rules are fucked up, but - they're following the rules.

I'd call that a good thing. Rules can be changed. For the better, if you've got any optimism left.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but The NSA violates its rules thousands of times per year. In one year, 2776 violations makes about 7 or 8 violations daily. More like 10 or 11, if you only count work days.

Oh, me. Sometimes the absurdity of government is much more funny than what any punchline a comedian could conjure could be....or as Will Rogers famously once said,

No, I know about that.

They're not saying who they've spied on when directly asked. That's following the rules.

Fuck America? No. Fuck the government that dares to call themselves American.
