Nature of God from The Big Three!
I was wondering what is the nature of God from the big three religions.
I know that the Christian God is omnipotent, omnibenevolent, omniscient, omnipresent. He seems to be a Personal God and also Transcendent.
Though the three monotheist religion is basically worshiping the same God but with different names and different characteristics?

What is nature of God in the Jewish?
Same with Islam
Are they Immanent?
or Impersonal?
or have the same characteristics as the Christian God?

(This is for my RE essay. I am one of the people with the highest level in RE! YAY me!!!)

Omnibenevolence isn't universally accepted by all Christian denominations like the other three. I think it would disingenuous to say that Christians (as a whole) believe this. The other points are pretty spot on, though.

Technecally, they are the same god..

Bury me with my guns on, so when I reach the other side - I can show him what it feels like to die.
Bury me with my guns on, so when I'm cast out of the sky, I can shoot the devil right between the eyes.

I could've guessed you would be.

Might consider trying to weave this in if you're looking to be provocative: Biocentrism

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

I don't get what this guy is saying. He is saying that life was created before the universe came about? Time and Space is simply an illusion...
*scratch head*
Things don't exist outside of mind...
I thought before big bang there was no space or time unless he is talking about the previous universe...

ugghhh! (My head hurts)

RE: Nature of God from The Big Three!
I'm thinking that I wish fora were around when I was at school.

The nature of god has adapted (been adapted) over centuries.

I read Karen Armstrong's History of God and came to the same conclusion as this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlnnWbkMlbg and later found his vids (so I could have saved the price of the book)

You forgot one, "Nonexistent" Big Grin

Pretty much all three have that one down.

The old gods are dead, let's invent some new ones before something really bad happens.
