RE: Near Death Experiences and atheists
I had an NDE myself many years ago. To me it was an absolutely fascinating neurological experience... well fascinating after the 'almost dead' part.

I never felt that is was either spiritual or religious. Quite the contrary. I wanted to learn all I could about what processes the brain and body go through at that instant of 'checking out'.

As I result I still keep as current as I can on neuroscience. I just wish my son was still in college. Free access to journals is the shiz.

RE: Near Death Experiences and atheists
What I would want to know is if any Christian or someone else of another faith has had a NDE and then converted to a completely different religion. By completely different I mean none of the abraham god religions like Christian, Jew and Islam but something else entirely.

Like, has a Christian ever had a NDE and then became a shinto or a Baron Semadi Worshipper?

My Youtube channel if anyone is interested.

I used to be an atheist. Then I had an NDE. Now I worship Squeaky the Rat god.

Insufferable know-it-all.Einstein God has a plan for us. Please stop screwing it up with your prayers.
