Need Help With Instrument
I'm very into making my own music in my spare time, and there's a specific keyboard/synthesizer that I'm looking for. I hear it often in the bands that I listen to, but I don't know what it's called. The sound can best be described as an "angelic choir", and it tends to be used (in my experience) to create an epic and foreboding atmosphere. I'll include a few examples below.

It makes an appearance at about 28 seconds.

It can be heard in the background during the chorus.
So, anybody have any idea what type of instrument this is? If so, where I can find one?

EDIT: New computer isn't posting videos properly. My apologies Tongue

RE: Need Help With Instrument
I need some help with my instrument. Big Grin

And it's not your computer, but the return of TTA's stupid fucking editor. It'll post spaces after/before the brackets; delete 'em, and it should work. Fucking stupid editor. Big Grin

Technically the TTA editor is Seth, so that may be a poor choice of wording.

Meanwhile, this thread reminds me I need to go check on my organ.

Not sure of the make of the synth. Do you have an Alesis or Kurzweil dealer close by? Alesis is more affordable and has some pretty good synths. Some of the better Yamaha synths might get you what you want too. What kind of music shops do you have around you?

Not sure, actually. I generally use the internet for these sorts of things. The only problem there is that I can't get the thing in my hands and test it out for myself. I'll google around a bit; I'm sure there are some high-end music places nearby.

RE: Need Help With Instrument
ok that sound. Either it one of the orchestra sounds on the synthesizer, or one of the choir sounds.
I am not sure if there is a specific instrument, unless you have a synthesizer, top play it.
