New Catholic to Forum
Hi all,

I am a lifelong Catholic, interested in engaging with atheists.

We can share what we both know, and maybe we can change eachothers minds.

Here is a sample of some of the music I like. Please feel free to enjoy it!

Welcome. Just so you know, many of us are ex-theists. I'm an ex-Irish Catholic. As such, I don't think you're going to be changing too many people's minds in here.

Welcome. Former Catholic here.

Check out my now-defunct atheism blog. It's just a blog, no ads, no revenue, no gods.

Recovering Catholic here...Catholic schools and all, attended a Basilica, still wasn't enough for me to stick with it.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

Hurray, a fellow Catholic! Also hurray for Te Deum!

If I may offer a few gentle pieces of advice...know folks will disagree with us. This section is specially moderated to be a nice place, and usually things like Coffeehouse and This, That, and the Other Thing are mostly 'safe' to goof around with everyone. However, boards like Atheism and Theism, people won't pull punches, even if they like you.

The other thing, you'll find a lot of former Catholics on here. They didn't just leave our faith for the Hell of it; rather they spent years usually, agonizing over the decision and researching it. So they'll probably have responses to whatever is brought up that might be, for lack of a better term, surface level.

Need to think of a witty signature.

Welcome, I don't know what you mean exactly when you say "change each others minds", but I suppose we'll see.

Think of it like changing each others' diapers and it makes more sense.

Welcome Catholic. Come in and set a spell.
