And this is STILL the intro section rules apply here that don't apply elsewhere.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

I find it to be more disturbing if he's real. That's not meant to be an attack on catholics but on a certain version thereoff.

We praise thee, O God: we acknowledge thee to be the Lord.
All the earth doth worship thee: the Father everlasting.
To thee all Angels cry aloud: the Heavens, and all the Powers therein.
To thee Cherubim and Seraphim: continually do cry,
Holy, Holy, Holy: Lord God of Hosts;
Heaven and earth are full of the Majesty: of thy glory.

—Seriously?

To be fair, I like a lot of secular music with pretty stupid lyrics, and Bach's cantatas (full of heavy-duty Lutheran sermonizing) are "to die for". I also like a lot of Gregorian chant, and the monks of Solesmes are among the best performers of same. It's easy to ignore the lyrics when they are in Latin (or German, in Bach's case) and just enjoy the music.
