New Research - Possible Cause of Death for Lucy
Using high resolution X-ray scans, scientists believe that Lucy was killed by falling out of a tree. Bone fracture patterns and internal bone damage are consistent with a fatal fall, according to the eggheads.

I new Lucy was an early branch of hominids, but I didn't know she was an early-branched hominid.
