Yea it is a bad pun, but got your attention.

The important part is pointing out how religion allows people their own selection bias and sample rate error to justify their god of the gaps.

If a Muslim survives a car accident in Saudi Arabia they will thank Allah. If a Jew survives a car accident in Israel they will thank Yahweh. If a Buddhist in Burma survives a car accident they will thank Buddha.

And all of them will ignore the 50 million deaths worldwide every year from everything.

And when somebody dies they will thank (insert deity here) for making it swift or say that it is part of some 'greater plan'. It is a no-lose situation when faith overrules thought.
