It's good to think, we should think more often.
I'll start with an easy one to get your brain warmed up and get progressively harder.
(If you know them please don't spoil my fun of watching people's brains explode and revealing the answer.)

1) 2 fathers and 3 sons go fishing. Each catch 1 fish each.
What is the least amount of fish they could have caught?

2) What work can one never finish?

3)

4) A man who lives on the tenth floor takes the elevator down to the first floor every morning and goes to work. In the evening, when he comes back; on a rainy day, or if there are other people in the elevator, he goes to his floor directly. Otherwise, he goes to the seventh floor and walks up three flights of stairs to his apartment.
Why?

5) A father gives his son 10 cents. He gives his other son 15 cents.
What time is it?

6) What is the longest word in the English language?

There's Muffs points up for grabs if you get them.

2. Reversing entropy
3. 122221, 1222221
4. The stairs are on the outside of the building, and he's scared of getting stuck in an elevator alone.

Re the longest English word: "It's not antidisestablishmentarianism. It's some chemical name that is unimaginably long."

Right. DDT is dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane. At 31 letters, that's three more than antidisestablishmentarianism. But some chemical terms are much, much longer.

Grandad, father, son1, son2. 4 fish I think.

Quote:2) What work can one never finish?
Counting adding 1 each time. Maintenance of a working motor vehicle. Chucking dog poo over the neighbour's fence. What? I don't understand. There's a shit ton of work you can never finish.

I answered two, maybe more later Drinking Beverage

The answer to number 1:
2 fathers
3 sons

1 grandfather (father)
1 father/son
2 sons
= 4

In saying that, I see where you're coming from. Half a point.
