RE: Non-Christian Interview
Please forgive a dumb foreigner's ignorance but is an apologetics class where one studies how to apologise for the evils of christianity?

It must we quite a long course.

You have my sympathy.

Hello, IM, I am curious as to why an apologetics class at an xtian school would assign students to "interview" a non-xtian...?

You may not like all of them, they may not all be right, but at least most of us are honest about them.

Except for EvenHeathen. He lies like a rug.

Hmmm I wonder if it is to beef up arguments against atheists? Consider
Her intro post seemed really nice, and honest, so maybe it is just curiosity. So for now, I'm interested to see how it goes! Smile

Dodgy

Me too, but it reminds me very much of Dumbski's "Critical Thinking" class, which (last time I checked) assigns its students to troll 3000 words on a "hostile forum".

I asked him whether I can post the questions and my corresponding answers on the forums, but he hasn't responded yet. Sleepy

Are the questions the usual, or do they actually have merit?

RE: Non-Christian Interview
Here are the questions:

1) In your religion, what is the 'first cause'?
Example: God

2) What is outside of reality?
Example: The transcendental realm where God exists and where He created the universe from nothing.

3) At what point during human development does the soul enter the body?
Example: When the Holy Spirit sanctions the act of procreation.

4) What happens after death?
Example: You are reunited with your loved ones and your spirit joins the one-ness of all spirits and you become one with God.

5) How is knowledge possible?
Example: All knowledge and wisdom come from God

6) How do we know what is moral (right from wrong, good from bad)?
Example: Tree, apple, snake, y'know. Divine Command Theory.

7) What is the meaning of life?
Example: The pleasure gained from trolling internet forums (fora)

8) What is history?
Example: History is a meaningful sequence of events that leads to God's will.

9) What is your quest?
Example: To seek the Holy Grail

10) What is your favourite colour?
Example: Blue no....

/questions

Please note that answering "I don't know" to any of the above questions will result in instant death and eternal agony.

You have been warned.
