Non biblical afterlife
We all know that the media is riddled with stories, movies, comics, video games and books that have a fantasy, modern or futuristic setting that has its own version of what an afterlife could be. Personally, one of my favorites is the Beetlejuice movie.

I am almost mystified to want to know more about how that version works, where each of those doors lead, the lost souls room and what it is like there for them. Also, wtf is really up with that recently deceased book lol. Plus you have access to POWERS! Powers you can control people with and do all sorts of super awesome fun stuff involving music! lol.

So, my question is that if there was an afterlife. Which non biblical or "religious" version of the afterlife would you want that comes from a movie or some other media and why does it sound interesting enough to you?

The astral world, of course! Few of New Age hippies today are aware there's a whole system of pre-war literature behind that.
It's a bit technical, but the best worlds are, something you can really get into, if you know what I mean.

Where did that little girl in 'Poltergeist' go? The TV people seemed alright for the most part. Hell I love TV. I also love the Family Guy episode spoofing 'Poltergeist'.

You know, the last time I read those (when they first came out), I was still Christian. The ending of the first one is much more funny to me, now.

"Are you trying to make me feel guilty about sex?"
"Actually, yes. We've found that our Lawful patrons generally expect it that way."

RE: Non biblical afterlife
There is a 8 year old boy who believes he went to heaven and came back. They (he and his father) wrote a book about the boys "miraculous" experience. They made a movie about his "heavenly" experience. On "FOX NEWS" they interviewed the boy and his father in a way as if it really happened. The "boys" illusion may be " ridiculous" but Fox News Interview was pitiful. Although I don't expect more from Fox News.
