"Mostly"? Can't go no further without Corps of Engineers permission.Army Corps of Engineers Says Pipeline Construction Can't Continue Without Tribe Input They could've just sent it through 10 miles north of Bismarck like their original plan called for and avoided this whole fiasco but that's upstream from white people's water and they wasn't having none of it.

Yeah but we're not just talking about where the pipeline will go, we're talking about the location of the protesters. They're standing on private property while protesting. The Corps of Engineers doesn't own the property, they have only been given property rights while building the pipeline. The property is still owned by the ranchers. The ranchers want the protesters removed. The Corps of engineers wants them removed. Irregardless of who technically owns the property, they're not on public property (on most sections of property).

DLJ thanks for posting those. Smile

Girly Heart

My grandmother and mom were both born in North Dakota, my grandmother used to talk all the time about the native peoples. It wasn't nice. She held the same attitude as many do today. Fucking sad

Cool story. But not actually true. It's dialect. It's slang at worst. But it's a word found in Webster's dictionary.

Still, what I wrote is correct. Attack my usage of IRREGARDLESS all you want. The fact is, the majority of these protests are occurring on private property. The owners of these properties have the right to demand the cops remove the protesters by any means necessary.

Lord Dark Helmet, I for one believe that proper grammer is necessary to have a meaningful discussion.

Though these guys have likely never handled a riot before, thanks to the fluoride in our water we're kept pretty mellow.

Not really shocking when you understand the seriously vast extent of Embridge's corruption and pay-off of local state and Federal public officials, agencies and programs.

Yeah. But you *should* be talking about the pipeline and the corrupt unethical company behind it all.
