RE: Nostalgic Video games.
I used to work for a computer gaming company when I was in my very early 20s. They made some games that were pretty fun. Too bad they went out of business.

Oddly enough in those days my husband felt owning a computer was a huge waste of money. Lmao.

The sun rises in the West and the bird shits on the coffeetable.

Liked because IHNMAIMS was an amazing short story and game.

“You see… sometimes life gives you lemons. And when that happens… you need to find some spell that makes lemons explode, because lemons are terrible. I only ate them once and I can say with certainty they are the worst fruit. If life gave me lemons, I would view it as nothing short of a declaration of war."

Put a literal tonne of 20cent coins in this.

I'm not sure 'nostalgic' is the right word for games that came out less than 5 years ago... Consider

I mean, I was there at the ground zero for the start of Poke'Mon, now that's nostalgic. Which for reference, Red was release in the US back in 98'. Tongue

I can get older, I still remember getting a Sega Genesis and playing Sonic for the first time (that was 91').

I have looked in several places and could never find it.

Check out Good Old Games, it's been updated to work on modern systems and it's currently $5.99 USD and comes DRM free. They also have the two earlier games in the series as well, and other titles from the same developer (Bullfrog) including both the Syndicate and Dungeon Keeper series.

doing speedruns in half-life was fun, not sure if it makes me old though. also Counterstrike 1.3 was the best.

When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour. That's relativity.

You cannot successfully determine beforehand which side of the bread to butter.

RE: Nostalgic Video games.
Christ, how young is the OP? Those games are barely last generation.

For me:
Super Mario Brothers 3
Super Mario World (I play both 3 and World via emulator at least once every 6 months)
The Lost Vikings
Day of the Tentacle
Toe Jam and Earl
Earthworm Jim
Kings Quest V
Mortal Kombat 2
Counter Strike 1.3
Halo CE

Halo CE being the newest is nostalgic for all of the Halo parties I had in high school. Every friday night was Halo night, and those were some of the best nights of my teenage years.

"Good news, everyone!"
