Observed instances of evolution.
I wanted a thread that holds observable experiments that show evolution (by natural selection).

E.coli Evolution

Lizard Rapid evolution

There was an experiment in The Greatest Show on Earth by Richard Dawkins described.

Basically what happened was that there was two jars of the same bacteria that fed off glucose (and were fed with a mix of glucose and other chemicals daily).

After something like 10 days, one bacteria population exploded (in growth). What they found out was that this population had evolved the ability to consume Citric Acid as well as Glucose.

Oh geeze, sorry, I didn't even realize it was e. coli that the experiment was done on. I read the book 4 years ago, at least I got the food right.
