Ode to Oz.
Aussies love a barbie, owyergoinmate!
Jimmys throin snags on, Beryls fillin plates
Need to live up to our green image (lol)
And the dunny door keeps swingin in the wind.

Jackies brought his missus and the billy lids
W'ere no flamin racists wouldn't be for quids
Mild white supremacists perhaps?
And the dunny door keeps swingin in the wind.

The kids are on the tramp and laughter fills the air
as old Granny Davis cackles from her chair
Used to make great bread once.
And the dunny door keeps swingin in the wind.

Now booze and prawns do funny things, also gets some randy
and one pot screamer Lisa shes' known to be handy.
Yes blame the women, a typical Oz trait.........
And the dunny door keeps swingin in the wind

Hey! give the good lady wives a fair shake Blue
Lurking backdoor Bertie he has never been true
Booze, missing friends, it just never ends
And that dunny door's stopped swinging in the wind.

This rhyme is dedicated to G.M, a lover of Aussie slang...................... Cool
