Of Mice and Men
I am starting a philosophical system based on the teachings of this book, which are:

A)
You are lonely
Everyone is lonely
You can be surrounded by people
But you are alone
No one is like you; you are like no one
You feel no ties between other people that are complete
Imperfections exist in this incomplete ties
These ties have their breaking points, and every man has his price
In the end... the only thing that can kill you
Is what you held dearest and depended on your entire life.

B)
Nothing will go as planned
You can prepare as much as you want
but life is uncertain
shit happens

Thoughts on the name?
Omamism Tongue

Fight the system,

~~~but don't mute the opposition!~~~
RE: Of Mice and Men
How about nihilism? Doesn't feel particularly original to me. Steinbeck was a nihilist to me even though he would prefer American writer.
As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.
Hmmm... A nihilist? I consider myself a nihilist already through =/ So that doesn't really help. Maybe I should just fuck this idea.
I think there is still some potential for neo-nihilism where we realize that it is all ultimately bullshit while at the same time realizing that the local, artificial meaning we create every day to just be here (stay here) is everything.
In the 20th century, that would be a tautalogy, no? Latvinexave seems more on the Hunter Thompson path, though.
I wish the trend were otherwise.
If you pray to anything, you're prey to anything.
Ah, well gonzo is an entirely different, yet intimately related, sorta trip.
Still, it's all about loneliness. Alienation, isolation, disconnectedness. The human debris of a highly individualistic, competitive society.
