RE: Office Depot refuses to print a religious flyer against abortion
Does the fact that the flyer is citing questionable sources in a effort to put Planned Parenthood out of business count for anything?
I'm asking because I don't know.
Could Office Depot be held liable for printing this?
Could Planned Parenthood turn around and sue Office Depot?

I doubt it. Office Depot can't be expected to know if what is said is factually accurate or not. If planned parenthood wanted to sue someone it would have to the church making the pamphlets and sue them for defamation. What the church was saying would have to be factually inaccurate though, they can't sue them just because they disagree with the churches position on abortion. 1st amendment and all that.

I think where Office Depot would be held liable would be if it was a more serious and obvious issue such as instructions on how to build a homemade bomb out of soap and fertilizer.

I actually think that any privately owned business, unless it's a public service, should have the right to refuse the service to anybody.

If they want to go broke over "idealism" -- have at it.

All I'm concerned about is the color of their money....That's why it's called "business"...
