They'll get there yet. Once that gains momentum it seems to go quite fast.

I hope so, but I'd bet federal law changes will come along to make it legal here before state law changes. Seems just so absurd that with 75% approval from the citizens, they MIGHT approve certain types of marijuana for three diseases at the most.

End rant Blush

I hope that the world turns, and things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. - V for Vendetta

Particularly looking at Amazon and Boeing, but many larger companies test at orientation, even though it's legal in WA.

So if it's legal... They can't discriminate can they? I'm assuming that everybody in the states walks around with lawsuit paperwork on their person just in case they're faced with discrimination or some kind of spilled hot beverage.

My understanding is that while the state level laws have tolerance for pot, it is still against federal law. Additionally, if a federal agency is a large customer of a company (e.g. Boeing) then there may be additional drug testing requrements based on the type of work.

Alcohol is legal too, but you can't show up drunk at work.

My #3 son has developed quite the green thumb for a particular plant. And by green thumb I mean he meticulously follows the scientific method like daily. The latest harvest he calls OG Kush. I was looking to send him to school in CO but I'm thinking my money might be better spent on a couple of semesters at StarkRaving U. Big Grin
