I grew up in Guelph and was going to tease my friends about sending a "mole" to Ottawa so their Jack Purcell would be honoured. I then realized that Guelph is the happiest place on the Internet and they would probably insist on both Jacks be included.Smile

I was wondering if I'd see this story brought up here.

This is why we haven't annexed Canada yet.

That, and the last time we tried didn't go so well.

If you were to try again, we would send strongly worded, but self-effacing, protests to you government. Angry

it reminds me of a question that was posed to Hitchens.

RE: Oh, Canada. Lol.
I have great respect for Canada, they've figured out the banking system, health care, gun laws, politeness, self-sufficiency, snow and ice...

The only draw back that I can see is all that snow and ice (we won't mention Bieber and Rob Ford, oops just did Angel but GSP balances them out).

If I could tolerate cold weather and didn't like the ocean and wasn't afraid of bears and liked hockey I could see living there! Tongue
