The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

I remember on UK TV only having the 4 stations, (BBC1, BBC2, ITV [or Granada as it was in my area] and Channel 4). Later on in the earyl 00's we got Channel 5, which was terrible programming, daytime "real life" movies and soft core porn at night. Many years later and it's still mostly the same lol.

You had it easy.

When I was young, we only had 2 channels - ITV and BBC.

TV didn't start until 3:45pm - Watch with Mother.

The TV stations went off-air at about 10pm and that was it until next day.

On Sundays, both TV stations were high-jacked by christards and we had to suffer christarology programs - evil fuckers. Oh, except for Sunday lunch when we had to endure farming programs.

How anyone can claim that those days were the 'good old days' is beyond me. They were shit. We had to bow and scrape to the fuckin' christards. All the shops were closed on Sundays - all day. No sport on Sundays. It was called 'Sunday Observance' and the 'Lards day'. One forgets that christards were so powerful back then that they could high-jack the TV stations for the day. Twats. Give me life today and all this technology. It gives me freedom.

Seeing our foot bones in the X-ray machine (fluoroscope) at the shoe store. It's a wonder we all didn't get cancer LOL...

Still do that in New Jersey because it is illegal to pump your own gas there.

Oregon too.

Collecting the milk, fresh rolls still warm and the daily paper from your front door and settling down with a cup of coffee for breakfast and the paper....started the day out on a calm, pleasurable note.

Paying cash for a one-time way airline ticket and being asked " smoking or non-smoking"?

Really? I had no idea. I just heard of it in NJ. That's crazy.
