How can you suck at a game where nothing you do is wrong!?

How do you feel after trying to throw a rock at a neutral village to convince them you are the one and only true god and end up destroying half your village because you dropped said rock Tongue ?

RE: Older Video Games
I just liked fighting other animals with my tiger. Though nothing in the game seemed to matter. I was as evil as possible and nothing really looked different besides my veiny hand. Plus my pet never listened despite all the beatings.

Haven't been able to force myself to play B&W 2.

I do love every game Peter Molyneux touches though. I recommend checking out The Movies. Basically the sims mixed with Rollercoaster Tycoon mixed with directing and making your own movies.

RE: Older Video Games
You can't cheat in the movies and even in freestyle mode you don't have everything unlocked - as a game it's a mediocre sim - and if they actually unlocked all content in FreeStyle it would have been great.

Idea : The Adult version of The Movies - Big Grin that's something I'd like to see

RE: Older Video Games
Well I played through the Movies all hardcore like and ended up unlocking everything. The thing that gets me is that it really is just a piece together of 10 sec clips rather than total freedom. Cause then I really could make a porn.

Thinking Norseman
My patience wears thin at one point , and after making some stupid mistakes or failing a mission for the X time , even if I successed at X+1 I'm angry and long past enjoying the game.

Yea , too bad no one makes those - I think some Japanese studio had a virtual girl thing but from what I hear it's not that great.

Yea , the RTS part was more structured but some of the side quests were absurd.
I remember this side quest with a thief I played like 6 times and couldn't finish - damn , was that annoying.

RE: Older Video Games
yes for god sims i prefer dungeon keeper. at least that one gives the odd amusing sound bite in the middle of an otherwise serious status report.

"Your imps are unhappy because someone keeps hiding their shovels"
"One of your imps does a great impression of you. He can even do the ears"
