RE: On Santa Claus
I can't remember ever really believing in Santa, either. I caught on at a very young age to the fact that I could sneak into my moms closet while she was at work and find the gifts she had hidden from us. That was enough Christmas fun for me.

My daughter on the other hand holds onto her belief in Santa still, at 9 years old, even though I've never really reinforced that beleif, her father is a JW and doesn't believe in Santa or Christmas, and my fiancé is a skeptic of the belief-squashing variety and has told her numerous times that Santa doesn't exist. She just likes to believe, I guess.

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who has said it- not even if I have said it- unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense. - Buddha

RE: On Santa Claus
I never really believed, because I guess my mom told me he wasn't real when I was two or so. Of course, never believing in the first place let me miss out on this wonderful dissonance:
