On becoming an Atheist
Hello I'm a new member.

Reality does not require a guide tour given by God. I am not a tourist. I am here to stay.

Welcome to the forum Smile

I have a website here which discusses the issues and terminology surrounding religion and atheism. It's hopefully user friendly to all.

So now that I'm here I may a swell tell you what brought me here.

In a nutshell, I guess I'm still a Catholic because I haven't being excommunicated yet, but recently I've come to the conclusion that I don't believe in monotheism.

RE: On becoming an Atheist
The way that I see it is that gods are like prime numbers. So that the one God is simply like saying that 2 is the only even prime number and calling all other gods odd numbers. Which is really stupid.

Because 3 is the only prime divisible by 3 etc. Its a self defeating argument by definition.

So my current position is that there are an infinite number of small gods all sharing the same definition.

To say that the number 2 is special is mere vanity.
