Thank you so much for posting that. Fantastic stuff.

(I'm going to borrow it to shove up the ass of a jesus freak at AF.org!)

Thanks for posting this Tone-Loc

Check out my now-defunct atheism blog. It's just a blog, no ads, no revenue, no gods.

His book Deconstructing jesus is brilliant, one of my favorites.

At around 15 mins, I thought he was just going to keep talking for the full 40 mins.

I had the same thought. One question and nearly 15 minutes of response was pretty funny but as it was all thoughtful and informative I wasn't complaining.

I did as well! I loved that Matt just let him go. He could have taken a nap for all we know. Smile

Awesome, very interesting! Thank you Smile

I have a website here which discusses the issues and terminology surrounding religion and atheism. It's hopefully user friendly to all.

He's very very good.

Yet.... he doesn't address the most important questions… who invented Christianity and why.

I, of course, have an opinion on this... it was the Roman government. They controlied the literature, they had the economic means to spread the religion, and they had good reasons to do so. That reason was to, originally, undermine trouble causing Jews, and later to control people's behaviour using religion.
