RE: On the road to recovery from obesity
I skip reporting for last Monday. I was down 2 pounds that week, I have crossed the magical BMI line from obese to simply overweight.

That's cool Skyking, I still can't find one reason to try and loose weight. I'd like to, but.... in and of itself being skinny isn't it's own reward.

Can't say I'd ever agree with you Jesse. I'm a physical guy and I love to move around I love to play Frisbee I played tennis all sorts of sports. I like to ride bike. There isn't one of those things that's easier to do when you're heavy.

So the other shoe dropped Sad
take away 400 minutes of cardio and yoga a week, and something's gotta give.
I lost nothing last week and was lucky to maintain. I have two more weeks of no cardio, so this will be a legit plateau.
I walk a couple of miles a day on the treadmill but it doesn't do much at a HR below 100.

Sky, what do you do in terms of your diet? Are you eating the same as before or generally eating less/better than before? The last time I went into "full work out" mode, I completely changed my diet to brown rice + chicken/meat and protein supplements, only ever drinking water for example, and I dropped weight VERY quickly.

It sucked but if you're looking to really drop some weight, that's the route i'd go.

Diet was drastically changed and I track my intake via an app.
Basically tons of veg, protein, and little in the way of carbs.

Have you tried intermittent fasting king of the sky? I'm down to 190 from 280 using it and still losing weight with minimal exercise limited to lifting big rocks one day a week. I'm a big fan of bio-hacking. We haz teh teknologyz.
