I'm almost alone in my view that society would be a much better place without moral beliefs.

Many of them. They tend to be the ones in which people get really emotionally invested. I tend toward the side of cold objectivity, and no one understands it. So, I just keep that shit to myself now.

I actively restrain my Hitchslapping, for fear my friends will say enough !! i hate you and your poo poo skepticism.
Although general science ignorance will set me off.

A friend said last year that he thought venus was the iss, besides the fact that it was fuckin Venus (something a 9 yr-old would know), it was stationery, I had to explain why shit needs to move fast in a low orbit, and how far out a GSO needs to be.

I like TrainWreck. Weeping

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

You're alone. Even TrainWreck doesn't like TrainWreck.

RE: On what issues do you feel you stand alone ?
I stand alone on so many things that when I bring them up I tend to get the hate thrown at me and completely shunned from a group.

-I don't believe in shallow like how it is usually thought of in pop culture. I think different people value different things differently, and just because somebody might think having a whole bunch of really nice shoes is important, or having a nice body is important that doesn't make them shallow or stupid. It's just a different set of values.

-I don't think it's stupid to be a theist, I think it's fairly easy and human to fall into that trap, and there is no shame in that.

-The BBT sounds ridiculous to me, but also so incredibly uninteresting (i.e. boring and pointless) that I don't care to read up on it.

-I think homosexuality may possibly be a mental abnormality that is present since birth. What I'm saying is that there is nothing wrong with being a homosexual, just like there is nothing wrong with being colorblind. Of course this is incredibly politically incorrect, so I never say it. (this got me called a Christian troll in another atheist forum and basically everybody hated me.) If you want to ask me why I think this, private message me, but I won't talk about it here.

-I think men should not have to pay child support if a woman chooses to have a baby instead of getting an abortion when the man documented that he wanted an abortion within the first few months of pregnancy.

---Ahh and many other things. Gotta love being an individual.

I'm sure i'm not alone but there's view people I've spoken too who get the feelings I have on privacy/property issues.

I think they are simply arbitrary boundaries created that shouldn't have value.

Semi related to what you said, I also feel the attitude we have towards personal property is a little ridiculous. Im America for instance, I feel a single family living on a 4000+ sq/ft plot of land is just wasteful. I think ideally houses should be taller and house multiple families and gardens and such should be shared. Similar to condo living, but that isn't exactly what I am imagining. Do you have similar views?

I think I stand alone on the notion that internet trolls are incredibly funny.

It's just the internet, stop taking it and yourselves so seriously anti-trolls.

The trolls help keep free speech and the internet attitude of freedom alive.

Just some thoughts.
