Congratulations

God has no obligation to make sense.

Then he cannot expect us to be believers and should not punish us for not being so.

The only thing I was indoctrinated into is reason.

So, you just coincidentally stumbled upon Christianity, and believe it to be true? Yeah, sure. Every religion is equally lacking in evidence for the existence of their god or gods. I have no reason to believe that even one god exists, let alone to pick a specific god out of the countless number of deities that man has invented throughout history. Your argument makes no sense at all.

I see that the sin is strong in you. You're putting yourself above God.

And you are putting the horse before the cart. You have not shown in any way there is any kind of god let alone the one from the fairy tales you grew up with.

Absolutely not.

If that's what you believe, your worldview is self contradictory.

I don't put myself above God -I don't believe God exists - I may as well put myself above the Kraken too...Facepalm

RE: One question that completely refutes atheism
I read through six pages of bickering back and forth, and I still have yet to see you define or defend your terms. So since you won't, I will.

First we must establish what is meant by "absolute truth" since words are just labels that we put on things. So I'll use the definition I heard Sye use, something that is true for all people everywhere at all times. What is true? Conforming with facts of reality. So, are there certain facts of reality that hold true for all humans at all times now, in the past, and in perpetuity?

No.

You might claim existence, and this is the closest thing I can think of. But even this does not hold. Before I was born I did not exist. After I die I will not exist. So it will not be said to be "absolutely true" that I exist, since my existence is finite and is not perpetual.

I have no idea what the fuck you are trying to ask me.

What do you mean by truth? Truth is a human concept or word rather that is used in place of the word fact.

A fact is something that is contrary to reality as per how the universe works.

for example, Gravity does not pull you anywhere. The space around you pushes on you.
Movement is a illusion. It is impossible to move anything or have movement. The item in motion stays in place and it pulls the space or the "universe" in a sense around it.

This is truth or rather fact.

It is absolutely true that this is not possible.
